ColorSol - Sustainable Product Innovations through Dye Solar Cells

• Dye Solar Cells (DSC) are electrochemical thinfilm cells, based on nanocristalline electrodes (titanium dioxide) and organic ruthenium dye
• DSC solar efficiency: in the laboratory up to 8%, in prototypes 4-5%
• New application fields due to simple production process based on screen printing
• More flexible color and form design than with conventional solar cells
