Buildings are complex products
and their users are complex individuals or institutions. The life cycle of a
building covers the planning phase as well as construction, usage, change of
occupants and demolition at the very end. Looking from the starting point to
the end of a building including everything that happens in between, life cycle
assessment and quality certificates gain in importance. The presentations of
this session range from low energy certificates to carbon footprints of housing
and quality management of buildings based on LCA.
