Sustainable Water and Wastewater Management- Concepts for Lima Metropolitana (Perú): “LiWa – Lima Water”

Description: Sustainable water management in megacities requires a truly holistic approach, even more so for desert cities facing climate change.

Objective: LiWa’s interdisciplinary approach develops tools, such as participatory scenario development, climate modelling, macromodelling of the entire water/wastewater system, and integrates them into decision making.

Expected results: Megacities’ lifeline systems can be managed in a climate and energy efficient way.
