Energy consumption worldwide is growing, driven by increasing demands of both, developing and industrialised countries. How can sustainable production of energy contribute to the solution of this huge problem of modern economy? What is sustainable production of energy? How can energy be stored and distributed in a more environmentally and socially sound way without causing extremely high costs?

Examples of new solutions in this field are presented and discussed.
