

Dr. Stephanie Bock works as a Researcher at the German Institute of Urban Affairs (Difu) in Berlin in the Urban Development and Legal Department. Her research focuses on urban and regional development, gender issues in urban development and evaluation and accompanying research. Currently she is responsible for the cross-project accompaniment of the REFINA R&D program “Research for the Reduction of Land Consumption and for Sustainable Land Management”. After graduating in geography, she worked for several years as a Regional Planner at a regional board and at the University of Kassel where she received a Ph.D. in Planning Science in 2001.
