specialized in Process Engineering; 1994 PhD at the University of
Erlangen-Nuremberg; Head of the Department “Environmental Engineering” at ATZ
Entwicklungszentrum; 2000 Professor in the field of “Water, Air and Soil
treatment”
Main fields of research: wastewater treatment; recovery of nutrients,
wastewater reuse, anaerobic processes.
Vice Dean of the faculty Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Engineering, Technology
Transfer Agent of the University Evaluator for: BMBF, AiF; Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG); University
cooperation in Egypt, Jordan and Brazil; Project manager in approx. 30 research
projects
