Kim Christiansen has 25 years experience as environmental consultant on
management systems for quality, environment, occupational health and
safety etc. He now works as project manager at Danish Standards
covering environmental management systems and tools and
nanotechnologies. He has been involved in numerous international
studies on Local Agenda 21, hazardous waste, batteries, heavy metals,
cleaner technologies, life cycle assessment and environmental
management including a series of EU funded projects. He was head of the
Danish delegation during the development of the ISO standards on LCA
and functioned as secretary of the working group on the integration of
the LCA standards. He his responsible for the environmental product
declaration scheme development at DS.
