Sept 2004 - GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam. Project management in EU-funded research, as co-ordinator in geothermal exploration project “I-GET” and as key partners in the co-ordination action “ENGINE”. Other international activities include preparation of EU-project proposal“GEISER” (Mitigation of induced seismicity) and collaboration with Indonesia for geothermal development. Research on the effects of the liquid/steam transition on physical properties of reservoir rocks.
2000 – 2004 GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam. Research associate in petrophysics. Investigation of the changes in physical properties of rocks during phase transformations (serpentinite dehydration and transformation plasticity in quartz) and their implications for tectonics and the hot water budget of the lower crust. Participation in the multidisciplinary project "Deformation processes in the Andes".
