Short biography

Dr. Ademar Ribeiro Romeiro is Associated Professor of the Institute of Economics at the University of Campinas - UNICAMP (Brazil). He holds a PhD degree in economics by EHESS - University of Paris (1986). From 2001 until 2005 he has been working as Head of the National Center of Satellite Monitoring of the Brazilian for the Enterprise of Agricultural Research – EMBRAPA. He is Coordinator of the Research Group on Agricultural and Environmental Economics at the Institute of Economics - UNICAMP. Dr. Romeiros main research fields are Ecological Economics and Ecosystem services valuation.

Member of the International Observers Group (IOG)
