Short biography

Dr. Eva Sternfeld is a sinologist and geographer with over 20 years of research and working experience related to issues related to environment, resource management and urban development in China. From 2000 until March 2008 she has been working as a CIM expert for environmental education at the China Environment & Sustainable Development Reference and Research Center, a public environmental information center run by the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) in Beijing. Since August 2008 she works as research fellow for the Center for History and Philosophy of Chinese Science and Technology at TU Berlin. Dr. Sternfeld has been working as a consultant for training and environmental education on several short term missions on behalf of InWEnt, KFW, GTZ and EU.
