BIOLOG – Biodiversity and Global Change in Europe

• In order to achieve a better understanding of the effects of land use practices on biodiversity and ecosystem services, the BIOLOG Europe project brings together landscape ecology, biodiversity research and socio-economic studies.
• The research topics include sustainable use of grassland ecosystems, spatial complexity and biodiversity in agricultural landscapes, evolutionary and ecological impacts of invasive species and socio- economic aspects of biodiversity.
