Prospektiv GmbH is a private research, consulting and qualification institution with registered office in Dortmund. The current key activities  include demographic alteration, new technologies and technical design, management of regional value-added-partnerships, business start-ups and securing of existence as well as employee health management. Within the framework of the BMBF-project InnoWert, prospektiv conducts the accompanying research for the generation of innovative value-added-partnerships to realise a sustainable management of resources in the rural area. Therefore clusters will be built up in the four sectors energy, water, nutrition and building and habitation. Within their framework, innovative solutions and technologies will be developed for an utilisation of new material flows. The idea not to waste any natural resources is to the fore  and has been supplemented in the project by the issue “No waste of human resources”. From that, great economic potentials are emerging for the regional companies, on the one hand by the new knowledge, on the other hand by the economy of resources. The concept will be realised exemplarily at the former coal mine “Zeche Westfalen” in Ahlen and will be evaluated so that the research results can be transferred to other locations that have to face a structural change.
