Dr. Tilman Hertz

Short biography
Dr. Tilman Hertz studied Economic Sciences and Philosophy at the
University of Aberdeen (UK) and obtained his Doctorate in Economic
Sciences from the University of Paul Cezanne in Aix-en-Provence
(France).
In his work, he analyses the difficulties that arise in the management of global environmental goods.
Dr. Hertz has been working with the GTZ (German Technical Cooperation)
in Jakarta (Indonesia) in the area of climate change mitigation and
adaptation and is currently working at the Division of Resource
Economics of the Humboldt University of Berlin as a scientific
coordinator of the BMBF funded (German Ministry of Research and Higher
Education) project "Climate and Energy in a Complex Transition Process
towards Sustainable Hyderabad - Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies by
Changing Institutions, Governance Structures, Lifestyles and Consumption
