  • PHD at Humboldt University Berlin 1977 – 1980
  • Practical work as agronomist and chief of biological plant protection for Berliner Stadtgüter 1980 - 1990
  • Scientific Coworker and later manager of FZB Biotechnik GmbH 1991 – 2005, working at “Development of microbial antagonists for control of soil borne plant pathogens”
  • Owner and manager of ABiTEP GmbH since 2005
