International Observers Group (IOG)
Aiming
at a stronger international participation, BMBF invited several experts
from the major G8 and O5 countries to participate as “International
Observers” in the Forum.
As a main driver of “Research for Sustainability” BMBF is interested to
know and reflect about African, Latin American and Asian opinions and
suggestions as the Forum unfolds. The international guests provide
expertise in issues of sustainability research partly with scientific
and /or administrative background. Their task is a critical reflection
with a global point of view on the European discussion on
Eco-Innovation and to share their experiences with the national and
European FONA participants.
The main messages of this reflection will be made public in the closing
session at the end of the FONA-Forum (programmatic outlook).
