Final Conference of the Funding Measure "Water as a Global Resource (GRoW)"

12 collaborative projects of the BMBF funding measure "Water as a Global Resource (GRoW)" will present findings from three years of applied water research at a final conference in Berlin.

Population growth, climate change and drinking water shortages pose one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century for the sustainable use of water resources worldwide. Under the BMBF funding measure "Water as a Global Resource (GRoW)", 12 collaborative projects comprising more than 90 institutions from science, industry and practice have developed innovative solutions for global water problems since 2017 in order to contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation".

The GRoW Final Conference on 20/21 October 2020 offers the opportunity to discuss findings from three years of applied water research with representatives from science and practice, to exchange ideas with other projects and to receive suggestions for the further exploitation of results. The conference will take place in hybrid form and offers the possibility to participate on-site at Umweltforum in Berlin or online.

For further infomation on conference details, the preliminary programme and registration please go to the GRoW-Website. The conference will be held in English. Participation is free of charge but please note that the number of participants of the event, both physical and virtual, is limited. The deadline for registration is 1 October 2020.
