MOPGA Kick-off-conference 2019 in Paris
Make Our Planet Great Again – German Research Initiative (MOPGA-GRI): Franco-German Fellowship Programme on Climate, Energy and Earth System Research
On October 1st, 2019, the joint French-German kick-off-conference of the MOPGA initiative is held in Paris and will be opened by the Ministers of Education of the two countries. At this conference, the 55 international laureates of the German-French research initiative meet for the first time and jointly discuss solution approaches to combating climate change. With their research projects they want to draw attention to the global climate crisis and to exchange ideas among each other. This wish to effectuate a rethinking in politics, economy and society is also expressed in a joint statement.
