The Solar Trees prove the headline of the German Pavilion “Fields of Ideas” and the readiness of this technology. They are a result of the OPV Consortium supported by BMBF (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research). The design, planning and realization of the German Pavilion have been taken on by the ARGE, a consortium made up of Schmidhuber (pavilion’s spatial concept, architecture and general planning), Milla & Partner (content concept, exhibition and media design) and Nüssli Deutschland (project management and construction).
