H2Global meets Africa - Abschlussveranstaltung

H2Global Meets Africa brings together leading voices from research, policy, and industry to explore the future of clean hydrogen in Africa and its role in building resilient, mutually beneficial partnerships with Europe. Hosted at the Fraunhofer ENIQ on Berlin’s EUREF Campus, this afternoon workshop offers a timely platform to move beyond hype and toward practical pathways for sustainable hydrogen development.

This workshop aims to convene key stakeholders from research, policy, and industry who are engaged in advancing clean hydrogen development in Africa and in fostering collaborative partnerships with European institutions.

Drawing on insights from the research project “H2Global meets Africa”, the event will highlight current opportunities, challenges, and emerging realities across African hydrogen markets. Through expert presentations and a high-level panel discussion, participants will engage in an open dialogue on how to design effective frameworks, mobilize investment, and ensure that hydrogen projects deliver long-term value for local economies and global climate goals.

Join peers from across sectors to exchange perspectives, build connections, and help shape the next phase of clean hydrogen cooperation between Africa and Europe.

We are looking forward to meet you - Fraunhofer IEE, H2Global and OTH Regensburg.
